๐ฟ 1. 1-Minute Prayer
Lord God, thank You for drawing me to Your Word again today. Let me behold Jesus—the Word made flesh—and receive the fullness of grace and truth. May the Holy Spirit guide this meditation so that I live as Your true child. In Jesus’ name, amen.
๐ 2. Bible Reading: John 1:1–20 (NIV)
11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—
13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, "This is the one I spoke about when I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.'")
16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.
17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
19 Now this was John's testimony when the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was.
20 He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, "I am not the Messiah."

๐️ 7. Interpreting God
God’s plan was not only to speak through the Word but to become the Word in flesh. In Jesus, the fullness of divine grace and truth was revealed. Though He came to His own people, many rejected Him—yet God’s mercy did not stop there. He opened the door for anyone who receives and believes in Jesus to become His child. This passage reminds us that God initiates our birth into His family, a birth not dependent on biology but on divine grace. He is a relational God, drawing us close through His Son, who alone reveals the Father.
๐ 8. Interpreting Humanity
We see how prone humanity is to miss the very presence of God. Though Jesus walked among us, many did not recognize or receive Him. Still, for those who do, there is a life-altering promise: we are born of God and called His children. This identity isn’t earned by effort or lineage—it’s a gift of grace. Like John the Baptist, we too must know who we are not and live to make Jesus known, not ourselves. Humility, clarity, and conviction mark those who live to point others to Christ.
๐ 9. Application to My Life
- Am I truly living as one who has received Jesus and been born of God?
 - Do I reflect the grace and truth of Jesus in my interactions?
 - How can I, like John, be a voice that points others to Christ?

Example: I will remind myself throughout the day, “I am a child of God.” In conversations or moments of influence, I will aim to reflect not myself but Jesus, who gave me grace upon grace.
✨ 10. Spiritual Touch
“To those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” (v.12) – This verse filled me with gratitude and dignity as one who is adopted by God’s grace.
๐ 11. Prayer of Faith, Repentance, and Thanksgiving
Lord Jesus, I confess that I have often lived as if I am my own. But You came so that I might be born again—not by my effort, but by Your grace. Thank You for giving me the right to be called a child of God. May my life reflect Your glory and truth as I live in this identity. Amen.
⏰ 12. 24-Hour Encouragement
Live today in the confidence of this truth: “I am God’s child by grace through Jesus.” Let every word and action reflect His love and light. ๐
