๐ฟ 1. 1-Minute Prayer
Father God, open my heart to worship You not in tradition but in Spirit and truth. Let the wonder of meeting Jesus overflow into bold witness and true joy. In His name I pray, amen.
๐ 2. Bible Reading: John 4:21–30 (NIV)
21 "Woman," Jesus replied, "believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."
25 The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us."
26 Then Jesus declared, "I, the one speaking to you—I am he."
27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, "What do you want?" or "Why are you talking with her?"
28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,
29 "Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?"
30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

๐️ 7. Interpreting God
God redefines worship—not as a matter of location or tradition, but as a spiritual reality rooted in truth. Jesus speaks directly and clearly, revealing that true worship comes from hearts transformed by the presence of the Messiah. He doesn't only speak this to religious scholars, but to a broken, searching woman. God values relationship over ritual and seeks worshipers who know Him intimately.
๐ 8. Interpreting Humanity
We often tie worship to buildings, places, or customs. Like the Samaritan woman, we may expect the Messiah to come "someday" and overlook that He already has. But a genuine encounter with Jesus changes everything. It shifts our focus from religion to relationship, from isolation to mission. Even a person with a painful past can become a bold witness when they meet the Savior.
๐ 9. Application to My Life
- Is my worship tied to location or guided by Spirit and truth?
- Have I recognized Jesus as the Messiah, present in my everyday life?
- Today I will reflect on how I worship—and invite the Holy Spirit to make it real.
- I will share my story of encountering Jesus with someone, no matter how simple it sounds.
✨ 10. Spiritual Touch
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (v. 24)
This reminds me that God isn’t limited by buildings or rituals—He wants my heart, fully yielded and sincere.
๐ 11. Prayer of Faith, Repentance, and Thanksgiving
Father, forgive me for making worship about places or routines. I want to worship You with all my heart—in Spirit and in truth. Thank You, Jesus, for revealing Yourself to me. Like the Samaritan woman, help me lay down my past and boldly tell others: “Come and see.” Amen.
⏰ 12. 24-Hour Encouragement
Hold this close today: “He is the Messiah, the One who knows everything about you—and still calls you.” Worship Him deeply, and share His story joyfully.
