๐ฟ 1. 1-Minute Prayer
Lord Jesus, quiet my thoughts and open my heart as I meet You in Your Word. Reveal the truth about who You are and help me to respond with genuine faith. Search my heart and lead me to worship You in spirit and in truth. Amen.
๐ 2. Bible Reading: John 2:21–25 (NIV)
21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body.
22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.
23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name.
24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people.
25 He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.

๐️ 7. Interpreting God
Jesus is more than a miracle-worker—He is the true dwelling place of God. He proclaims His body as the temple, pointing to His death and resurrection as the new way to meet God. Though many believe in His name after witnessing signs, Jesus knows their hearts and does not entrust Himself to shallow faith. He desires not just excitement or admiration, but sincere, enduring belief rooted in truth. He sees through every layer of appearance and judges justly.
๐ 8. Interpreting Humanity
Human faith is often fickle—quick to respond to miracles, slow to grasp deeper truth. The crowds believe when it's easy, but Jesus knows that not all belief is genuine. Even the disciples needed time and resurrection hindsight to fully believe. We are often drawn to the visible and impressive, but what God desires is inward transformation. True discipleship begins when our hearts, not just our lips, say “yes” to Jesus.
๐ 9. Application to My Life
- Is my faith based on what Jesus does for me, or on who He is?
- Do I allow Jesus to examine my heart and correct me?
- Today I will pray for sincere, lasting faith that trusts beyond signs.
- I will reflect on what Jesus sees in me—and surrender it to Him.
✨ 10. Spiritual Touch
“He knew what was in each person.” (v. 25)
This truth humbles me—Jesus knows my deepest thoughts, yet still invites me to follow Him.
๐ 11. Prayer of Faith, Repentance, and Thanksgiving
Lord Jesus, You are the true temple where I meet the living God. Thank You for knowing my heart completely. Forgive me for times I have followed You only for what You could do, not for who You are.
